Exegy’s Proxime software uses commodity servers to deliver low-latency normalized market data to diverse trading applications. It shares the same easy-to-use API as Exegy’s hardware-accelerated appliances and allows applications to select the normalized data views and symbol watchlists for their use case. When embedded on the same server as a trading application, Proxime can deliver single-digit microsecond latency to support speed-dependent trading strategies.

Proxime software allows you to leverage existing servers or lease infrastructure from a vendor to deploy to new data centers and markets quickly. It also represents a cost-effective solution for geographically distributed businesses such as trading desks that operate in multiple co-location sites in Asia-Pacific. When combined with Exegy’s TREP Publisher or other internal adapters, Proxime serves as an efficient source of real-time market data for global distribution fabrics.

As an added point of flexibility, Proxime provides the option of self-management, allowing you to maintain control and security of your trading stack, especially when Proxime is co-resident on the same server as trading applications. However, Exegy’s white-glove managed service is always available, regardless of where Proxime is deployed.
